Shadow Island is an adventure of body, heart, mind, and spirit, set amidst the fjäll, forests, and fjords of Sweden’s wild West Coast.This sea-kayaking expedition is an opportunity to leave the shores of the known world, and set out on a mythical journey, to visit the lesser known, hidden places of your psyche. The wilderness serves as an honest mirror, guiding you to confront both your shadows and your strengths, and inviting you to forge a deeper harmony within yourself. At the heart of this journey, lies a search for wholeness, to embrace all aspects of who we are, and become fully integrated human beings, carrying both our light and darkness without hiding or filtering ourselves; in other words, finding authenticity. To facilitate this, Jorn and Sjors offer a unique blend of holistic health practices, psychotherapeutic approaches, outdoor learning dynamics, and ceremonial work, that together provide a potent container for deep work, and personal transformation.
